Government of Canada Supports the Festival du cheval de Princeville


PRINCEVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - April 8, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage

The Honourable Christian Paradis, Minister of International Development, Minister for La Francophonie and Member of Parliament (Mégantic-L'Érable), today announced $6,200 in funding for the 15th Festival du cheval de Princeville, which will be held from June 4 to 6, 2015. Minister Paradis made this announcement on behalf of the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.

The Government of Canada is providing this support through the Local Festivals component of the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage program. This funding will help improve the Festival's shows component, which offers a range of activities for horse enthusiasts and country music lovers.
