Governor Brown to Speak at ISO's 2016 Stakeholder Symposium

Speakers and Panels, Including Governor's Remarks, Will Be Livestreamed

FOLSOM, CA--(Marketwired - September 06, 2016) - Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. is scheduled to address attendees of the California Independent System Operator (ISO) 2016 Stakeholder Symposium at the Sacramento Convention Center on Wednesday.

Governor Brown is scheduled to deliver remarks at approximately 12:30 p.m. tomorrow, the first day of the annual two-day event recognized as one of the premier energy forums in the West.

Credentialed media are invited to attend the event, which will bring together energy industry leaders, environmental and labor advocates, and state and federal regulators to discuss the benefits and challenges of integrating California's bulk power system with that of neighboring western states.

In addition to the Governor, keynote speakers include Tom Steyer, president of NextGen Climate; and Mauricio Gutiérrez, president and CEO of NRG Energy.
