Govplace Awarded SEWP V

Fifth Iteration of Government-Wide Acquisition Contract Expands Scope of Products and Services

RESTON, VA--(Marketwired - Oct 6, 2014) - Govplace, a leading value-added reseller and solution provider for the federal information technology (IT) market, announced today that it has been awarded the Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC). The contract has a ceiling of $20 billion over the next 10 years. SEWP V expanded the scope of products and services that were available in the previous iteration, SEWP IV.

"Govplace is proud to be able to support various agencies' IT needs through the SEWP V GWAC," said Adam Robinson, CEO of Govplace. "Our unique approach to performance-based contracting and deep history with federal customers makes us an ideal partner to provide IT solutions to agencies under SEWP V."

Federal agencies can use SEWP V to procure a wide variety of technology solutions and services, including hardware, software, networking equipment, storage and cloud-based services, among many others. While SEWP V is primarily focused on product-centered acquisition, it does include services as many government IT requirements have moved to a service-based model.

"Our wealth of partners allows Govplace to provide a truly integrated approach to federal agencies. We look forward to working with existing and new customers to collaborate to meet and exceed requirements, help reduce costs and provide the foundation for the next generation of federal IT," added Robinson.
