GPS Industries and Party Poker Announce Joint Marketing Pilot Program

Under the pilot program, golfers at 15 golf courses that use GPS Industries' portable handheld and cart-mounted units will receive promotions for the upcoming tournament. Under the terms of the agreement, Party Poker will compensate GPS Industries for every player who signs up through the GPS units.

Golfers use the GPS units to obtain distance measurements and view graphics of the course as well as to communicate with the pro shop and club house. Over the course of the 45-day campaign, golfers at 15 select courses will receive promotions for the poker tournament offering them incentives such as ball markers, golf tees and a matched $50.00 deposit by Party Poker for each golfer who registers on with $50.00 in their account. Registrants who play in the poker tournament will have the chance to win cash prizes, with a grand prize of $10,000 awarded to the first place finisher. The program will reach the estimated 20,000 golfers who use the selected golf courses each day.
