Grand Entertainment & Music, Inc. Announces New Movie and Film Sub-Division

MONTREAL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- October 6, 2005 -- Grand Entertainment & Music Inc. (OTC: GENM) announced today that it has formed a new corporate sub-division. This wholly owned subsidiary, Grand Entertainment & Film Works Inc., will focus on the company's movie and film industry pursuits. All paperwork has been signed and filed with the federal government of Canada and should be finalized by the end of this week.

The company will utilize this subsidiary to participate in key film acquisitions as well as to broaden its existing markets. The company is considering several projects that range from feature films to small independent endeavors. In addition to investments and acquisition prospects, Gem will employ this sub-division to aggressively pursue soundtrack and other marketing opportunities. The company will announce more information as the details are finalized.
