Grand Hyatt DFW Celebrates July 1 Opening at DFW International Airport

Luxury Hotel Offers Direct Access to DFW's New International Terminal and Skylink

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- July 1, 2005 -- Grand Hyatt DFW debuted today with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony and patriotic-themed grand opening celebration. The 12-story, 298-room hotel adjoins the new International Terminal D, the largest airline terminal built post-9/11 in the world, at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the world's third busiest airport. Representing both the first Grand Hyatt to be located at an airport and the first to be built in Texas, the Grand Hyatt DFW also is part of the first major international expansion at DFW since 1974. DFW International Airport owns the hotel, and Chicago-based Hyatt Hotels Corporation manages the property for DFW.

In recognition of the hotel's opening during the Fourth of July weekend, the event included participation by U.S. military personnel and began with a presentation of colors, the national anthem and a donation in the amount of "one grand" ($1,000) to the USO. The program included a ceremonial ribbon cutting and remarks from Retired Admiral Jim Lair; Tim Lindgren, senior vice president, Hyatt Hotels Corporation; James Crites, executive vice president of operations, DFW International Airport; and George Vizer, general manager of Grand Hyatt DFW. Special guests attending the celebration also were invited for refreshments in the hotel's Grand Met restaurant and tours of the luxurious property.

"The new Grand Hyatt DFW offers international and domestic travelers a new luxurious alternative for overnight stays, conferences and other events, including the benefit of direct access into the International Terminal D and Skylink," said George Vizer, general manager of the Grand Hyatt DFW. "I am confident that with an exceptional staff, coupled with unparalleled first-class accommodations, the Grand Hyatt DFW will deliver a superior guest experience for both business and leisure travelers."
