Grand Opening of Hampton Community Receives Largest Open House Turnout in Six Years, Says Brandywine Homes

Two-Story Homes, Priced in the High-$500,000 to Mid-$600,000 Range, Feature Four Bedrooms and Three Baths With up to 2,677 Square Feet

BUENA PARK, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 11, 2012) - Hampton, a much-awaited collection of 18 homes at 8901 Holder St. in Buena Park, officially opened to the public this past weekend as more than 1,500 potential buyers walked through the model homes. Brandywine has already sold three homes in Phase 1 of the Hampton collection.

"The unprecedented interest we've seen for Hampton confirms our belief that this is the right project in the right place at the right time," said David Barisic, vice president of Brandywine Homes. "There haven't been many new home communities built in Buena Park in the last 10 years, and the pent-up demand is going to be driving sales."

Hampton homes range from 2,400 to 2,677 square feet with four bedrooms (one of them downstairs) and three baths, priced in the high $500,000 to mid-$600,000 range. The community is built on a 2.2 acre site.

"We believe families are looking for a bigger house than is typically available on the resale market, especially in a community that's known for the quality of its schools," said Barisic. Students in Hampton will attend San Marino Elementary, Walker Junior High and Kennedy High School and the community is less than two miles from the prestigious and nationally recognized Oxford Academy in Cypress.

The homes will feature raised panel interior doors, fireplaces with electronic igniters, state-of-the-art interior communication wiring, cultured marble countertops in laundry and secondary baths, GE stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen countertops and the buyers' choice of interior paint colors.

Master bedroom suites include an oversized soaking tub, a separate shower with clear-tempered glass and a large walk-in closet.

Hampton homes are a model for green living with energy efficient tankless water heaters, night setback thermostats on central climate systems, low-flow plumbing fixtures, "Low-E" dual glazed windows and increased insulation.

Two-car finished garages with roll-up doors and fire sprinkler systems are included in every home and some plans and elevations will feature front porches and usable balconies.
