Grande West Signs Exclusive Distribution Agreement for the United States

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 1, 2015) - Grande West Transportation Group Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BUS) ("Grande West" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has entered into an exclusive bus distribution agreement with ABG Distribution LLC ("ABG"), operating nationwide as the Alliance Bus Group.

Under the terms of this agreement, ABG will distribute, market, sell and provide full service support for Grande West manufactured "vicinity" buses through its established sales and service locations and select appointed dealers.

In a yearly sales market of over 16,000 small to mid-sized bus sales, market opportunity for the Vicinity branded buses is estimated to be approximately 1000 per year. Terms for contract exclusivity will require ABG to develop and maintain a 25% market share.

"We are pleased and excited to have this distribution agreement with ABG as it allows Grand West to fast-track a presence in the U.S. market with a well-established and highly reputable distribution network. Given our very competitive pricing and high quality product, it should allow ABG to gain a substantial market share," commented William Trainer, President and CEO of Grande West Transportation.

Vicinity buses are "FMVSS" certified and fully compliant to sell in the United States as noted in a news release dated April 8, 2015.

The Vicinity is a heavy-duty mid-sized, low floor bus that is ideal for use in transit operations, community, airport, university and hotel shuttle services that require rigorous duty cycles. ABG will offer the Vicinity buses in 27.5', 30' and 35' lengths.

"ABG is excited to offer the Vicinity buses into the USA market," said Doug Dunn, ABG President and CEO. "Grande West and the Vicinity bus reputation for quality, reliability and innovation, with their Canadian customers aligns with our mission of providing market leading solutions to our customers."

About Grande West Transportation Group

Grande West is a Canadian bus manufacturer who designed, engineered and manufactures Vicinity buses. With little competition in the "mid-size" bus range, Grande West has set itself apart from others with the Vicinity bus - a heavy duty mid-size, true community transit bus now in operation in many municipalities across Canada.

The Vicinity is designed with affordability, accessibility and global responsibility in mind. It costs significantly less than a regular 40 foot transit bus, burns less fuel, emits less harmful emissions, has lower maintenance costs and is considerably more durable than cut-away buses which are based on a truck chassis.
