Granite D.R.C. Inc. Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada


RIVIÈRE-À-PIERRE, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - March 5, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm Granite D.R.C. Inc. has been granted financial assistance to boost its productivity.

"The Government of Canada is committed to helping Quebec's small and medium-sized enterprises remain competitive and create jobs. By lending support to Granite D.R.C.'s project, we are contributing to the growth and productivity of our local businesses," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 1989, Granite D.R.C. Inc. is renowned for the quality of its production. The company manufactures a variety of natural stone products including elements of urban furniture, landscape products, custom architectural products, and kitchen countertops.

This financial support will enable Granite D.R.C. Inc. to enhance its productivity while offering higher value-added products. Specifically, the project involves purchasing and installing saws and equipment at its Rivière-à-Pierre plant.
