Granite Hill Estates to Open Senior College Season

UMASC Programs, Conducted on the Granite Hill Campus, Are Open to the Public


HALLOWELL, ME--(Marketwire - March 1, 2010) -  Granite Hill Estates (GHE) announces the new season of its collaboration with the University of Maine at Augusta's Senior College (UMASC). Every season, in conjunction with UMASC, GHE conducts classes on its campus in Hallowell. This season, those classes will include:

  • Nutrition and Technology (March 11 through April 29)
  • The Lecture Series (March 16 through May 4):
    • Let's Go Reminiscing
    • Wildlife of the Galapagos Islands
    • An Armchair Tour of Maine Lighthouses
    • Oral Travel Tales
    • A Short History of Magic
    • Greatest Musical Hits of the Romantic Period of the 20th Century
    • Laughing Matters
    • Maine Art and Artists Who Painted In Maine.

To get to Granite Hill Estates, take exit 109 from the south or 109B from the north off I-95 (Winthrop). Head west on Route 202. Take a left onto Edison Drive. GHE is on the right.
