VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - April 26, 2016) - The Grape & The Grain is BC's first and only festival to bring spirits, wine and beer together in one amazing weekend. Live entertainment by local musicians, fare from Vancouver's favourite food trucks and an Artist Village combine to make this outdoor festival a perfect day out for the 19+. Tickets start at $45. All tickets include $20 festival spending money.
From May 28 - 29, 2016, the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre at the Cloverdale Exhibition Grounds will be transformed into a relaxing outdoor setting. Festivalgoers can stroll through the grounds sampling the best spirits, wine and beer from vendors around BC and beyond. A variety of live music along with the JRfm street team will be onsite to get the festival atmosphere rocking.
An easy cashless payment system will reduce lineups and wait times to allow festivalgoers to travel from tent to tent with ease. All tickets include $20 festival spending money so attendees are ready to go as soon as they hit the festival. Unused festival credit can be donated to The Kidney Foundation of Canada, BC & Yukon Branch and Operation Red Nose. Both charities will be on site running contests and games.
There will be a VIP Tent for groups and a 3-course Sunday Champagne Brunch featuring BC sparkling wines. The festival will be using the official Quini Wine App for festivalgoers to taste, rate and choose the festival's top wine picks.
