Gravity West Received 2007 Soil Sample Results for the Gin Property in Northern BC

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 27, 2008) - Gravity West Mining Corp. (TSX VENTURE:GRW) is pleased to announce that it has received 2007 soil sample results for the Gin Property in Northern BC. The results indicated some very interesting soil anomalies with up to 1.2 gram/tonne of gold, 230 ppm copper and 430 ppm nickel. The company is highly encouraged by the results and will follow-up on this program with more soil geochemistry, ground prospecting, and ground geophysics. The 2008 exploration program will also cover Mabon and Ealue properties located to the north of Gin claims.

During 2007 exploration work, a total of 146 soil samples were collected from three lines located in the eastern part of the Gin property, adjacent to the western end of the Red Chris property belonging to Imperial Metals. The highlights of the assay results are presented below:

- One sample returned 1.2 g/tonne (1.2 part per million)

- 4 samples over 100 ppb (part per billion)

- 8 samples between 51-100 ppb

- 43 samples between 21-50 ppb

- One sample 0.023%

- 6 samples between 0.01% - 0.02%

- 2 samples with 0.025% and 0.043% values

- 19 samples between 0.01% - 0.02%

The samples were processed by ACME Analytical Laboratories Ltd., using method 3B for gold and 1DX for other elements.

The Gin, Mabon and Ealue properties are alkalic type porphyry prospects located within the Stikine Arch porphyry copper-gold belt of northwestern British Columbia. The Gin property consists of eight contiguous claims covering an approximate area of 2680.55 hectares, while the Mabon and Ealue properties consist of one 500 hectare claim each. The adjacent Red Chris project of Imperial Metals has a resource in excess of 500 million tonnes grading 0.32% copper and 0.254 grams of gold per tonne. Imperial Metals in a recent press release (October 16, 2007) announced intersecting 1.01% copper and 1.26 grams gold/tonne and 3.92 grams silver for over 1,024.1 metres in DDH RC07-335.
