Great Canadian Gaming Corporation: Share Subdivision

RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - June 2, 2005) - Great Canadian Gaming Corporation (the "Company") (TSX:GCD) is pleased to announce that the common shares of the Company will be posted for trading at the opening on June 9, 2005 on a five-for-two split basis. As of the close of business on June 13, 2005, shareholders of record will receive three additional common shares for every two common shares held (As outlined in TSX Bulletin 2005-0640). This issuing will occur on or before June 20, 2005.

The common shares will commence trading on an ex-distribution basis at the opening of business on June 9, 2005 and on any transactions on or after this date delivery may be made covering only two-fifths of the common shares sold, with the balance of such transactions being on a "when issued" basis, delivery to be completed when the additional shares have been received by the registered shareholders.

No fractional shares will be issued as a result of the subdivision of the common shares and any fractional interest shall be rounded down to the nearest whole number.

Great Canadian Gaming Corporation's Vice President Corporate Development and Investor Relations, Thomas Bell, stated, "We anticipate that this share subdivision will encourage a wider shareholder base by improving the liquidity of the company's shares and by making them more affordable for individual shareholders and potential investors."
