VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - Jan. 20, 2006) - Anthony Garson, President and CEO of Great China Mining Inc. (OTCBB:GCHA) is pleased to announce that the company has completed all necessary filings with the regulatory authorities and has obtained approval for the decisions endorsed by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting held on December 30, 2005.

The Company has been allocated the new trading symbol: GCHA.OB by NASDAQ and would take effect at the open of business January 20, 2006.

The company new website www.greatchinamining.com is already operational as of January 03, 2006.
