Greater Toronto Airports Authority Chooses Lumonall for Fire Fighting Training Centre

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Jan. 28, 2008) - Lumonall, Inc. (OTCBB:LUMN), a global purveyor of photoluminescent (glow-in-the-dark) emergency signage and guidance systems, has announced that Lumonall™ (www.lumonall.com) Exit Signs and Safety Way Guidance Systems are being installed in the Greater Toronto Airports Authority's (GTAA) new Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute (FESTI).

"I am very thrilled that our photoluminescent products could be added to such a prestigious facility," said Mike Hetherman, President and COO of Lumonall, today. "Our mandate is safety, and to have fire fighting professionals training with, and acknowledging, photoluminescent signage and technology is the best recognition we could ask for."

The new state-of-the-art training centre-located at the western end of Toronto Pearson International Airport, and opened in July of 2007-is being called the preeminent training facility for professional firefighters worldwide, providing the best training available, in the safest, sustainable manner.

"As someone in the Emergency Response field I see true value in products like the Safety Way Guidance Systems used for the protection of the public's life safety," said Dwayne Macintosh, Deputy Fire Chief, Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute, GTAA, Toronto Pearson International Airport. "The product provided by Lumonall, and installed at our facility, demonstrates its practical use in a realistic environment. Emergency Services, business and Industry from around the world will have the opportunity through the use of our facility to truly experience the benefits of using such a product. As a training centre that strives to be a centre of excellence I feel that we owe it to our existing and potential clients to offer them new and unique technologies that are helping all of us to protect responders, employees and family members."

Not only is the GTAA's new training centre unique in the types of safety training services offered, it was designed and functions with environmental sustainability in mind. The first North American airport authority to achieve ISO 14001 certification, the internationally recognized standard for environmental management, the GTAA also designed the FESTI to conform to LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver standards.

Similarly, a supplier of green products and solutions, Lumonall focuses first and foremost on safety, environmental issues and cost savings. Using Lumonall Exit Signs contributes toward LEED Green Building Rating System certification. Builders can gain points in the Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources or Innovation in Design credit categories, while enhancing safety and saving energy.

More importantly, Lumonall signage and guidance systems are fail-safe in that they do not rely on electricity in order to safely indicate and illuminate a way to safety in an emergency.

Next week the Fire and Emergency Services Training Institute and Lumonall will host an on-location shoot for 21st Century Business with Alexander Haig, featuring Lumonall safety signage and guidance systems. 21st Century Business covers up-and-coming business initiatives, as well as news on the latest topics, trends and issues in a variety of industries. It is distributed worldwide on CNBC, Bravo, through in-flight programming on carriers such as Air Canada and US Airways, as well as via the show's website. Mr. Hetherman was interviewed by former four-star General Haig in September of last year. With the completion of the on-location footage, the spot should be airing in the next month.
