Green Bridge Technologies International, Inc.'s Wholly Owned Subsidiary Signs Agreement to Target $110 Million Telematics Market

Ecologix Retains Position Logics to Develop Its School Bus Monitoring Software Solution SchoolLogix

LINDEN, MI--(Marketwire - February 11, 2010) -  Green Bridge Technologies International, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GRBT) is pleased to announce that the Company's wholly owned subsidiary Ecologix has signed an agreement with Position Logics for the development of its SchoolLogix Software. The SchoolLogix Application is a web-based solution that provides both parents and schools monitoring capabilities of students and school buses. The Software also provides school bus fleet management, and reduces the school system's liability by providing two-way communications between administration and the school bus.

The nation's 475,000 school buses transport approximately 25 million schoolchildren every day and complete nearly 11 billion school trips annually, according to Frost & Sullivan. Most of these school buses are not yet equipped with monitoring systems and there is a growing concern over the safety and security of students. Due to these factors, the market for school bus monitoring systems is expected to grow from revenues of over $25.9 million in 2007 to $109.8 million in 2014 (Frost & Sullivan).

One of the most frightening things that can happen in the life of a family is to have a child come up missing. SchoolLogix can offer families the peace of mind of knowing that their child is where they are supposed to be once they leave for school and on the return home. Unfortunately, grim statistics support that within one hour after a child has been abducted by a stranger, 44% will be murdered. This number drastically increases after the first 24 hours to an astonishing 91%, according to The Safety First Group. According to a study by the U.S Department of Justice, there were 797,500 children (younger than 18) reported missing in a one-year period of time, which on average is 2,185 children being reported missing each day. Annually, 115 children were the victims of a "stereotypical" kidnapping, these crimes involve someone the child does not know or someone of slight acquaintance who holds the child overnight, transports the child 50 miles or more, kills the child, demands ransom, or intends to keep the child permanently.

When a child is missing, the last thing a panicked parent needs to deal with is not having enough information about the last known whereabouts of their child and a record of the child's descriptive information. To formally issue an Amber Alert, local police agencies must meet numerous detailed criteria to confirm that an abduction has occurred. Not to mention that agencies often lack a dedicated staff to expedite an investigation. In the case of a missing child, SchoolLogix will be able to immediately alert parents when a child does not get on or off a school bus as expected, as well as assisting in the search by providing a description of the child and information of where a child was last reported.

"With sobering statistics like these and in a world where approximately 14% of our children aged 5-12 are latch key kids, there is a growing strong concern over the safety of children," stated Leonard Baxter, CEO and President of Green Bridge Technologies International, Inc. "With the development of this new SchoolLogix system, we can now offer school systems and parents a viable solution to help alleviate growing concerns over the safety and security of students. This is an opportune time for us to tap into a fairly open market and generate a solid revenue stream. It is wonderful to think that we can meet our business objectives, while making this world a safer place for children."
