Green Hills Software to Exhibit and Demonstrate at MILCOM 2014

SANTA BARBARA, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 3, 2014) - MILCOM, Booth 519 -- Green Hills Software, the largest independent software vendor for the Internet of Things, today announced that it will exhibit at MILCOM 2014, Oct. 6-8 in Baltimore, MD. The Green Hills demonstration portfolio includes INTEGRITY® Secure Virtualization and INTEGRITY Security Services.

Demonstrations and highlighted technologies at the Green Hills booth, #519, will include:

INTEGRITY Multivisor™ Demonstration: "Secure containers" are being touted as the way to secure sensitive data on mobile devices. See how such solutions are easily bypassed, thus exposing sensitive data. Then see how INTEGRITY Multivisor™ technology thwarts such attacks that are becoming increasingly more common, providing a certified security option for mobile enterprise products. INTEGRITY Multivisor enables multiple, strongly isolated instances of Android as well as additional security-critical functions that run directly on the INTEGRITY microkernel to meet the most demanding industry requirements for certification and accreditation.

ISS Device Security Management: Although many cryptographic providers claim to solve the security problem for IoT-embedded devices, many fall short of a complete end-to-end solution that starts with device manufacturing, is delivered in application operations, and upgraded during maintenance. The Green Hills ISS Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) System completes this security short fall, and will demonstrate how key management for signing software, and the generation of unique digital identities per device, is critical for secure communication, software verification, and mission management.

Green Hills Software solutions are the foundation for many military embedded communication products used today.

According to John Warther, vice president of Government Programs, Green Hills Software, "Our software products and services are utilized in many mission-critical devices where reliable software is critical to operations. Our history is comprised of delivering to the market the most safety and security certifications as well as delivering a track record for solving the toughest embedded problems since 1982. Given our current deployments in a plethora of DoD and IC communication devices, including tablets, handheld radios, cellular phones, encryption units, CREW (counter radio electronic warfare); we are confident the next-generation of military communications will mitigate security risks imposed by IoT with technology from Green Hills Software."
