"Organizations are finding that being green and being responsible corporate citizens is critical to doing business in today's traumatized business environment. The emphasis is on transparency and organizations don't just want to be seen as doing the right thing, they want to be doing the right thing," says Carol Baroudi, research director. "They certainly don't want their name showing up on toxic waste being dumped abroad, but beyond that, they're finding sustainability initiatives are driving tangible costs saving, improving corporate morale, and attracting top talent."
