Green Your iPhone with 3rdWhale Mobile's LBS-Enabled Application

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 6, 2009) - 3rdWhale, a Vancouver-based green technology start-up with offices in Sunnyvale, California, is on the cutting edge of green technology.

Last month, 3rdWhale announced the release of its innovative iPhone application in six cities and only one month later the application is now available in 30 cities across North America. Through the use of the iPhone's built-in Location Based Searching (LBS), consumers now have an easier way to find green businesses while on the go.

The application is live in the iTunes App store, on any web enabled mobile phone and will soon be available on the new Google Android platform. It contains data about green and healthy living businesses and non profits across hundreds of cities including, but not limited to: Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Toronto and Washington, DC.
