GreenAngel Energy Company Paradigm Environmental Technologies Inc. Announces $6.1 Million Project

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 13, 2010) - GreenAngel Energy Corporation ("GreenAngel") (TSX VENTURE:GAE) reports that investee company Paradigm Environmental Technologies has commenced work on a $6,100,000 project to demonstrate MicroSludge® and anaerobic digestion at the Catalyst Pulp and Paper Mill in Crofton, BC.

The transportable demonstration plant will be fully automated and will include a MicroSludge unit, sludge thickening equipment, anaerobic digesters, and a laboratory. The plant will process a portion of the waste activated sludge ("WAS") from the mill's effluent treatment plant to show how it can be turned into biogas, a renewable source of energy. The demonstration will replicate mill operations in order to measure the operating savings at full scale. Installation of the equipment at the Crofton pulp and paper mill, located north of Victoria on Vancouver Island, is scheduled for early 2011. The demonstration trial is expected to last about 15 months. Following the Crofton demonstration, the transportable plant will be moved to other pulp mills for further trials.

Comments Paradigm CEO Gordon Skene, "This project will open up a new market for our MicroSludge technology in the pulp and paper sector, in addition to using MicroSludge at municipal wastewater treatment plants. We're optimistic that by enabling much faster anaerobic digestion, MicroSludge will prove to be an economically viable and sustainable waste-to-energy process for the pulp and paper industry."

Michael Volker, Chairman of GreenAngel comments, "This early work on what will be a large installation marks an important milestone for Paradigm and will act as a valuable reference to help close similar deals at other locations."
