Greenberg Traurig Miami Co-Managing Shareholder Richard Giusto Named to I Care I Cure Foundation Board

MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - March 5, 2010) -  Richard J. Giusto, a shareholder with international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A., has been named to the Board of Directors of the I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to finding gentler cures for childhood cancer. Giusto is Co-Managing Shareholder of the firm's Miami office and Co-Chair of the Miami Real Estate Department.

I Care I Cure increases public awareness about the painful side-effects of current cancer treatments for children and raises money to fund targeted therapeutic research, so that medical treatment will be gentler and more tolerable for children and their families.

"This organization is special in that it is one of the few grassroots organizations committed solely to funding research for gentler, more effective childhood cancer treatments," Giusto said. "I am honored to be able to play an active role in helping to find more humane treatment for childhood cancer and eradicating the psychological and health problems, such as hair loss, weakened immune systems, and isolation, that accompany current treatments."

Giusto is listed in The Best Lawyers in America® (2007-2010 editions), the oldest legal industry peer-review publication, and the 2008 and 2009 editions of the Legal 500 US, an internationally recognized client referral guide based on interviews with thousands of lawyers and with clients around the world.
