Greenberg Traurig Names New Shareholders in Tallahassee

TALLAHASSEE, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 10, 2006 -- The international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP announced that two attorneys in the firm's Tallahassee office, Glenn Burhans, Jr. and Mary Hope Keating, have been elevated to shareholders.

Glenn Burhans is a shareholder in the firm's Litigation and Appellate Practices. He has experience in complex commercial and multidistrict litigation, federal and state constitutional and election law litigation, and federal and state securities litigation. A significant portion of his practice is dedicated to class action defense and representation of corporations under governmental investigation. Burhans received a J.D. degree from Hofstra University School of Law in 1998 and a B.A. degree from the State University of New York College at Old Westbury in 1995.

Mary Hope Keating is a shareholder in the Appellate and Health Business Practices. Her experience encompasses all areas of civil and administrative law and she appears before both state and federal courts. Keating advises healthcare facilities and providers on regulatory matters including licensure, medical records, end-of-life issues, patient discharge and Medicare and Medicaid certification. Mary received a J.D., with high honors, from Florida State University College of Law in 1993, a M.S. degree from American University in 1984, and a B.A. degree from Sweet Briar College in 1981.
