Greenhouse Raises $13.6 Million in Series B Financing

Investment to Fuel Company's Continued Growth, Development of Innovative Recruiting Solutions

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 12, 2015) -  Greenhouse Software, a leading recruiting optimization platform, announced today that it has raised $13.6 million in Series B funding, led by investor Benchmark and with additional funding from The Social+Capital Partnership, Felicis Ventures and Resolute Ventures.

"Benchmark has been researching the recruiting technology space for years looking for a breakout company to emerge," said Matt Cohler, General Partner at Benchmark. "In a few short years, Greenhouse has made the transformation from startup to a proven leader in the recruitment technology space, delivering solutions that transform how companies hire great talent. We are excited to join Greenhouse's mission to help companies hire more effectively."

Since its inception in 2012, Greenhouse has had a singular goal -- to make companies great at hiring. Its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform is designed to remove the challenges associated with outstanding recruiting, such as planning, keeping hiring teams organized and capturing the right data to make informed decisions. As a result, Greenhouse clients can optimize the entire recruitment process -- from identifying the best candidate sources and creating consistent interview processes to evaluating candidates and extending offers -- and gain the support they need to ensure they hire driven employees who can make a difference in their organizations.

As one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies, Greenhouse is currently expanding rapidly as more employers across a range of industries and sizes recognize the value of its platform for connecting with top talent. To meet this accelerating demand, the company will use this latest round of funding to increase its sales, marketing, services and product development activities. Greenhouse will grow its internal team and continue investing in its platform, to ensure it remains at the forefront of recruiting innovation.

"Given the substantial challenges today's companies face in recruiting the talent their organizations need to be successful, Greenhouse is poised for continued growth, providing an intuitive solution to employers' biggest hiring obstacles," said Daniel Chait, CEO of Greenhouse. "As we seek to advance our mission and help more companies bring best practices and standardization to their hiring processes, this substantial investment will give us the support we need to extend our reach into new markets and connect with more companies that want to transform recruiting for the better."
