Greenlight® LaserFocus® Now an SAP-Endorsed Business Solution for Automated User Access Risk Remediation

Greenlight LaserFocus -- Through Integration With SAP® BusinessObjects™ Access Control -- Provides Customers the Ability to Identify and Remediate Access Risks Across the Enterprise

FLEMINGTON, NJ--(Marketwire - Sep 20, 2011) - Greenlight Technologies, a market-leading provider of cross-platform enterprise business control solutions, announced today that its Greenlight LaserFocus software product is now an SAP-endorsed business solution. The Greenlight LaserFocus solution, integrated with the SAP® BusinessObjects™ Access Control application version 5.3, provides visualization and automation for remediation of Segregation of Duties (SoD) conflicts as well as dashboards to track the status of system compliance and resolution activities across multiple business applications.

Greenlight LaserFocus complements the capabilities in SAP BusinessObjects Access Control for continuous monitoring of access risk and the management of user assignments across the enterprise. Through this, LaserFocus accelerates the access remediation process by providing advanced visualization capabilities to empower business users to more effectively close the loop on enterprise access policy violations.

To date, access rights remediation activities associated with SoD conflicts across disparate business applications have largely been manual, labor-intensive processes that require manual analysis of multi-page reports and navigation through numerous screens. Not only is this approach cumbersome, it is also error-prone and leaves an organization exposed to the threat of access fraud, misuse and compliance violations that can lead to audit-related findings. Greenlight LaserFocus, integrated with SAP BusinessObjects Access Control, provides real-time automation to manage, mitigate and remediate user access risks across disparate business applications. It eliminates up to 80 percent of the manual activities associated with traditional remediation processes by providing a visualization tool and the ability to drill down to remediate within the same screen. LaserFocus combines the data related to each SoD conflict and its associated access policy violation. Data is presented to business users in an easy-to-understand user interface. Reporting and remediation requirements can be viewed across enterprise business applications, users, roles and risks.

"As an SAP-endorsed business solution, Greenlight LaserFocus provides a consistent approach for remediating and mitigating access risks that can extend beyond governance, risk and compliance solutions to be applied to other business applications," said Anand Adya, founder and CEO, Greenlight Technologies. "Greenlight offers one of the most comprehensive automated access risk resolution solutions on the market that works across enterprise business applications and systems to help organizations properly manage access risks and achieve their compliance objectives."

Solutions endorsed by SAP AG are complementary to SAP software offerings and are developed in accordance with SAP development guidelines, providing additional choices and flexibility for businesses running SAP applications. As part of the agreement between Greenlight and SAP, both companies will share technology and product roadmaps. This endorsement builds on Greenlight's successful OEM business relationship with SAP and complements Greenlight RTA Design Studio and Adapters, also endorsed by SAP.

"Through the use of SAP BusinessObjects Access Control and Greenlight LaserFocus, customers will benefit from automating risk remediation processes, leading to reduced efforts and costs," said Michaela Zwinakis, vice president, Solution Management, Governance Risk and Compliance, SAP. "With Greenlight LaserFocus, now an SAP-endorsed business solution, customers can extend their access control framework beyond the SAP environment, which can streamline the process for managing risk remediation. This agreement underscores the importance of SAP's ecosystem strategy, through which we are cooperating with partners to support our customers' businesses, drive new levels of collaboration, and provide additional choices and flexibility."
