GreenPower Completes Production of Electric Bus

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - June 19, 2014) - GreenPower Motor Company Inc. ("GreenPower" or the "Company") has recently completed production and awaits the arrival of GreenPower's EV350, Zero-Emission, electric transit bus onto North American soil.

"The EV350 has performed and demonstrated it's operational capabilities above and beyond industry standards," says GreenPower's CEO, Phillip Oldridge. "The EV350's Zero-Emission, 320 kWh batteries coupled with a dual Siemens drive motor system, provides 100% torque at any speed with exceptional acceleration while loaded at full passenger capacity."

Watch a video of GreenPower's electric bus in motion and view a tour here:

The EV350 is a state-of-the-art, fully monocoque design combined with a stainless steel chassis, low floor body with carbon/fiberglass and composite components. The result is an electric transit bus that can travel in excess of 155 miles (250km) on a single charge, with Zero-Emissions and is significantly quieter than standard diesel or hybrid busses.

The EV350 boasts a low center of gravity design providing remarkable handling and easy access to battery compartments through external doors located down both sides of the bus. The rear of the bus, or the traditional engine compartment, houses all of the EV350's high tech components and battery management system. On the inside, the EV350 comfortably seats 33 passengers, 25 standees and accommodates 2 full-size wheel chairs.

Mr. Oldridge further states, "The EV350 delivers the most cost-effective, carbon-neutral solution to an ever-expanding public transit market."
