Gregory S. Coleman Named Head of Institutional Business for the Investment Banking Firm of Leerink Swann & Company

BOSTON, MA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 2, 2005 -- Leerink Swann & Company announced today that Gregory S. Coleman has been named Head of Institutional Business. Mr. Coleman's responsibilities will include oversight for Equity Research, Institutional Sales, Sales Trading and Execution and MEDACorp Research. Mr. Coleman joined Leerink Swann in April 2004 as a Managing Director.

Mr. Coleman is a graduate of Drake University. Greg joined Leerink Swann after four years at Credit Suisse First Boston where he was a Senior Relationship Manager. Prior to beginning his career in Institutional equity sales at Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. in 1994, Mr. Coleman held sales and marketing positions at Electronic Data Systems and IBM.
