Grenville Gold Hires Ellsworth Geological for Silveria Project

VANCOUVER, BC -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 30, 2007 -- Grenville Gold Corporation ("Grenville" or "the Company") (TSX-V: GVG) (PINKSHEETS: GVLGF) is pleased to announce that it has retained the services of Peter Ellsworth, B.Sc., M.Sc. for the Silveria project.

Mr. Ellsworth, principal of Ellsworth Geological, PC since 1992, provides consulting services to mining companies and investor groups and has served as an officer on several junior exploration companies. As a consultant, Mr. Ellsworth manages gold, base metal and diamond exploration projects in the United States, Mexico and South America. Prior to establishing his consulting business, Mr. Ellsworth was employed as geologist for Newmont Exploration Ltd., the Montana Talc Company and Cyprus Industrial Minerals exploring and developing gold and industrial mineral deposits. Mr. Ellsworth has worked in the mineral exploration and mining industry for 20 years, holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in Economic Geology and is a registered professional geologist.
