GREY GOOSE®, the World's Best Tasting Vodka and official spirit sponsor of the Elton John AIDS Foundation, last night, Thursday 23 June, served bespoke cocktails for the 2011 Elton John AIDS Foundation White Tie & Tiara Summer Ball.

David Furnish and Joe McCanta, GREY GOOSE Ambassador, joined forces to create five bespoke GREY GOOSE vodka cocktails, inspired by the 'RetroFutureSpace' theme of this year's event, which were enjoyed by guests at what was arguably the event of the summer season attended by celebrities including Anne Hathaway, Alexa Chung, Elizabeth Hurley and Shane Warne, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, Daphne Guinness, Boris Becker, George Michael, David Walliams and Lara Stone, Chase Crawford, Beth Ditto, Noomi Rapace, Patrick Cox and Tracey Emin.

With the space theme opening up a whole world (and beyond) of possibilities, guests sipped a selection of other-worldly cocktails including 'GREY GOOSE KRYPTONITE', a luminous mixture of GREY GOOSE La Poire, matcha green tea, lime and apple bitters, topped with an ice orb that melts theatrically into the drink.

The A-list crowd loved the 'GREY GOOSE MOON DUST', an iridescent mix of GREY GOOSE Le Citron, orange liqueur and citric acid, garnished with self-effervescing crystals that emit delicate bubbles throughout the drink. In addition, the iconic 'GREY GOOSE LE FIZZ' was served made from GREY GOOSE vodka, fresh limejuice and the most delicately floral elderflower cordial, shaken over ice and served in a flute, topped with soda water.

The celebrity cocktail of choice was undoubtedly the 'GREY GOOSE COSMIC ERUPTION', a delicately balanced, futuristic mix of GREY GOOSE L'Orange, rhubarb and a strawberry aperitif, topped with an Açai and Mulberry 'air' in homage to the space age theme of the evening's event.

This was complemented with the 'GREY GOOSE SPAWN', an electric mix of GREY GOOSE Le Citron, cardamom and tonic, served with a passion fruit 'caviar' that bursts in the mouth. Guests ended the evening sipping 'GREY GOOSE DARK MATTER', a luxuriously rich update on the classic Espresso Martini, made with GREY GOOSE vodka, vanilla and a shot of espresso coffee, that kept everyone reveling until the early hours.

The GREY GOOSE White Tie & Tiara Cocktail Collection will be available to enjoy at The Gilbert Scott Bar, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Euston Road, NW1 2AR from Friday 24 June until Friday 8 July 2011. The cocktails will be sold for £12.50. £5.00 from the sale of each cocktail will go to The Elton John AIDS Foundation. (Charity number 1017336).
