Grip Flicks Depicts Wardrobe Malfunctions Reminding Viewers to Wear Sunscreen

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 8, 2011) - Dangling high above the ground, a half-exposed Fanny Adams clutches a branch jutting from a cliff face with her jeans around her ankles. The 60-second vignette depicting the embarrassing climbing accident is one of several webisodes that feature a caption reminding viewers to wear sunscreen. Episodes of two Grip Flicks series, Sweet Fanny Adams and Angry Young Stan, featuring the title characters in a variety of revealing predicaments can be viewed at for 99 cents, with proceeds going to skin cancer research.

"We went for not-so-subtle humour to deliver a serious message," says film producer Stephen Lategan, who launched the short film website. A portion of money raised will go to the Gareth Evans Fund, named after his close family friend who died of melanoma in 2009.
