ConAgra Foods Leverages Grocery Server to Match Recipe Ingredients With Weekly Grocery Deals Throughout the U.S.

ANN ARBOR, MI--(Marketwire - February 16, 2011) - With the launch of recipe site, ConAgra Foods is the first major U.S. consumer food company to tap the new API from Grocery Server, the leading grocery deals search and shopping engine. The site uses the Grocery Server platform to show visitors how many ingredients in a particular recipe are on sale at grocery stores near them and for how much. By using Grocery Server, is able to match a very precise ingredient -- for example, Hunt's Diced Tomatoes -- with weekly specials from grocers within a shopper's zip code.
