Groundstar Resources Limited ("Groundstar" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:GSA) announces that the Company is continuing with its application to the TSX Venture Exchange (the "TSXV") for the trading suspension of the common shares of the Company to be revoked and shares reinstated for trading. As a result of the recent cease trade orders which were implemented against the Company (and which have subsequently been lifted), the Company's common shares were suspended from trading by the TSXV and the Company has had to commence an application with the TSXV to have the shares relisted. The Company has been diligently working towards having the shares relisted but has been hampered in its efforts to provide the TSXV with the necessary information for such relisting as a result of the less than optimal record keeping by prior management. The Company has now gathered the necessary information and feels that it should be able to obtain the relisting of the common shares in the near future. The Company will issue a further news release regarding the anticipated timing of the resumption of trading at the applicable time.
