G&S Minerals, Inc. Hires Geologist to Consult on Mining Interests

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- November 7, 2006 -- G&S Minerals, Inc. dba Gold & Silver Minerals (PINKSHEETS: GSML) (the "Company," has hired James Hindman, Ph.D. as a consulting geologist. Hindman will focus on research and assessment of the Company's various mining interests.

Dr. Hindman is an acknowledged expert in the field of vermiculite technologies, with extensive knowledge in related technologies dealing with clay, diatomaceous earth, micas, perlite and natural zeolites. Mr. Hindman was employed as Senior Metallurgist by W.R. Grace and Company at their Libby vermiculite operation from 1978 to 1985. During this period, work was performed in vermiculite beneficiation that resulted in substantial increases in product quality. Research projects included processes such as electrostatic separation, froth flotation, heavy media separation, high intensity magnetics, photometric sorting, selective comminution and screening, water and air classification, and several concentration techniques using laminar flow. Work was also performed in product development for several specialized applications using commercial vermiculite.

He is familiar with most current vermiculite mining and milling technologies through onsite examinations of mining and milling operations at Elk Gulch (Montana), Enoree (South Carolina), Qieganbulake (Xin Jiang, China), Lousa (Virginia), Mud Tank (Australia), Phalabowra (RSA), and Santa Lucia (Brazil).

In addition, he served as Vice President of Research and Technology for Resource Vermiculite, LLC during initial development of their mining and milling venture at Elk Gulch, near Dillon, Montana. He most recently served as Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Stansbury Holding Corporation until August 2000. He is also the founding member of Nevada Vermiculite, LLC.

Dr. Hindman graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor's degree in Geological Sciences and doctorate's degree from the University of Utah.
