GTA Resources and Mining Inc. Engages First Canadian Capital Corp. for Investor Relations Services

BURLINGTON, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - April 16, 2012) - GTA Resources and Mining Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GTA) ("GTA" or "the Corporation") has retained First Canadian Capital Corp. ("First Canadian" or "the Consultant") as a consult ant to provide strategic marketing and investor awareness services. The contract is for a period of twelve months and subject to a quarterly management review. Under the terms of the agreement, GTA will pay First Canadian $6,000 per month for a 12-month initial term, and will grant the Consultant 200,000 stock options. The options are to be granted in the coming weeks and priced within the context of the market. Vesting of the options will be in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.

With the recent exploration success and ongoing drilling at the Northshore property, GTA is intent on enhancing its investor following for the benefit of all shareholders. The Corporation is engaging First Canadian to significantly increase awareness of GTA and the Northshore asset through exposure to the Consultant's vast financial professional and private retail database. First Canadian will generate value for the Corporation by arranging introductions and meetings for management with brokers, portfolio managers, analysts and individual investors. The Consultant will also provide input on overall strategy with respect to marketing materials, website content, corporate branding and timing/location of road shows.
