GTA Students Finding Out a Future as a CA has No Limits

Bell's Anthony Staffieri Gives Chartered Accounting Career Advice

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - May 11, 2011) - A select group of Greater Toronto Area high school students are getting an exclusive look into the many opportunities available in the world of business at the No Limits conference being hosted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario on May 12. Approximately 460 students, nominated by their schools for their leadership skills and interest in university business programs, will be attending this daylong session with approximately 65 teachers. Toronto is hosting one of just four No Limits conferences being held during the 2010-11 school year.

Among the day's highlights will be a presentation by Anthony Staffieri, Senior Vice President Finance at BCE and Bell. He'll discuss the importance of the CA designation and its benefits to his career. Tony oversees the financial aspects of Bell's residential, business and wholesale markets. He has over 20 years of financial experience across all facets of finance, including financial, management reporting, taxation, mergers and acquisitions, audit and treasury.

The No Limits conference brings Chartered Accountants from Toronto's top businesses together with students most likely to be tomorrow's successful business professionals. During No Limits, the students will get the chance to meet CAs and discuss the many opportunities that open up for people who achieve the prestigious CA designation. Participating organizations include major accounting firms, banks, technology firms and more.
