GTREX Capital Announces Additional Current Customers for Global Travel Exchange Subsidiary and Its Direct Connect Travel Distribution Solution

TEMECULA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 26, 2007 -- GTREX Capital, Inc. (OTCBB: GRXIE) a holding company with subsidiaries doing business in the travel industry, today announced that its Global Travel Exchange subsidiary has additional existing customers for its "direct connect" Voyager Network travel distribution technology. The OTA (OpenTravel Alliance) compliant system using XML was recently implemented for a leading tour package company, which will allow its customers to access travel inventory using Global Travel Exchange's Voyager Network travel distribution platform.

Among with the additional existing customers, there are several airline, hotel, car rental, travel agencies, and tour package companies for which GTREX Capital is translating data to OTA-compliant XML as part of the preparations for direct connections through Voyager. Once the direct connect system for each customer is completed, tested and operating, GTREX Capital anticipates announcing each completed connection.

Ron Lindsay, president of GTREX Capital and Global Travel Exchange, commented, "We continue to work with all of our existing customers to translate their data to OTA compliant XML even as we market Global Travel Exchange's capabilities to additional travel industry participants. As more successful direct connections are established, the advantages of the Voyager Network will become more apparent to a broader segment of the travel industry."

Voyager Network is a more efficient and cost-effective connection between customers and travel inventory providers. Voyager Network's direct connect solution offers vastly improved services while reducing distribution costs for the supplier. Once each connection is completed and the system is operating for the customer, Global Travel Exchange will receive a fee for each transaction booked through the system.

"Due to the long period of little to no substantive communication from the company, particularly as it relates to the activities of the Global Travel Exchange subsidiary, we believe that it is important to update GTREX Capital shareholders on GTE's current customer base," commented Steven R. Peacock, consultant CEO of GTREX Capital. "Even as we target other potential strategic acquisitions for GTREX Capital, it is important for shareholders to realize that Global Travel Exchange has the potential to become an asset of significant value, and we will continue to tell its story as it adds new customers and grows revenues."

The OpenTravel Alliance, the travel industry's leading distribution specification development organization, is focused on solving the problems inherent with connecting multiple systems within the complex travel distribution arena. The OTA's mission is to engineer specifications that make data transmission flow smoothly throughout travel, tourism and hospitality. The OTA creates, expands and drives adoption of open universal data specifications, including the use of XML, for the electronic exchange of business information among all sectors of the travel industry. With a diversified membership representing influential names in all sectors of the travel industry, OTA is comprised of representatives from airlines, car rental firms, hotels, cruise lines, leisure suppliers, service providers, tour operators, travel agencies, and trade associations. Thousands of OTA message structures are in use, carrying tens of millions of messages between trading partners every day. More information on OpenTravel Alliance can be found at www.opentravel.org.

Global Travel Exchange has developed and implemented several XML (Extensible Markup Language) interfaces, in accordance with OTA specifications, to ensure a direct connection between the client and the suppliers of travel services. XML, a cross-platform software and hardware-independent tool for storing and transmitting information, is becoming the standard method to communicate data between servers and between servers and browsers. Global Travel Exchange's high-quality direct connection provides clients with access to higher quality information, translating into more convenience for travelers and travel arrangers.
