Gubernatorial Candidate Announcement

Social, Fiscal Conservative to Announce Gubernatorial Bid

FREMONT, CA--(Marketwire - July 31, 2009) - The following is a statement from the Ken Miller for Governor Campaign:

A candidate with a pro-life, pro-marriage and pro-immigrant stance with a solid moral compass and religious foundation is set to announce his candidacy this Saturday. This candidate will satisfy the vacuum left within the GOP. He is an authentic conservative candidate.

This newcomer is a life-long businessman who displays a foundation of fiscal conservatism and sound financial principles. He has worked for major broadcast corporations both in, and outside, of California. His resume includes executive management, sales and marketing.

He recently completed a personal book, sharing his past mistakes, successes and current desires to make a difference in the lives of California residents.

In the Bible it talks about the importance of keeping the regulatory system relevant. It says, "But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless." This candidate believes that is what should happen to every government program that has lost its effectiveness to help California's vibrant economy.

In his book this candidate writes, "Ever since the Gold Rush, California has taken a leadership role in America. It has been the 'head,' not the 'tail.' California's influence is easily seen in world culture." It is this candidate's firm belief that "California will continue strongly in this leadership role, despite the current political and financial hindrances." It is with this attitude that he proudly announces his candidacy.

The announcement will be at noon, Saturday, August 1st at the home of George and Patty Landavazo, 150 Williams Court, Fremont, CA 94536.
