(TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of onboard retail and payment technology solutions to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced a 3-year agreement to deploy its retail technology platform and PCI-compliant handheld POS devices to power the onboard store of a low-cost carrier in Southeast Asia. The Company's solution will be used to accept credit cards for the purchase of products onboard, increasing payment security for the airline and its passengers. This agreement is made in partnership with duty free concessionaire, Inflight Sales Group Hong Kong (ISG), and marks the partnership's third joint agreement of 2014 as well as the Company's continued expansion in Asia Pacific.
