GuestLogix Onboard Retail Technology Selected by Leading Regional US Carrier Horizon Air

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2009) - GuestLogix, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:GXI), the leading provider of onboard retail solutions to the airline industry, today announced that Horizon Air has chosen its popular Point-of-Sale handhelds and retail transaction platform to accept credit and debit card purchases on all its flights. Fleet-wide deployment is expected to be completed in early November.

Horizon Air follows its sister carrier Alaska Airlines which has deployed the GuestLogix retail transaction platform to sell beverages, snacks, meals and personal entertainment system rentals. With the GuestLogix platform in service for nearly two years, Alaska Airlines is among the first US carriers to go cashless with the exclusive acceptance of credit cards during flights.
