GuestLogix Secures 3-Year Agreement With New Airline, Tigerair Taiwan in Partnership With St. Doras

Company's Travel RPM™ Division Develops Omni-Channel Retail Program for Taiwan's First Low-Cost Carrier

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Sept. 29, 2014) - GuestLogix Inc. (TSX:GXI), the leading global provider of ancillary-focused merchandising, payment and business intelligence technology to airlines and the passenger travel industry, today announced an agreement for the fleet-wide deployment of its retail solutions for the support of food and beverage as well as duty free retailing across Tigerair Taiwan. The Company's Travel RPM® (Retail Performance Management) business unit partnered with Taiwan's leading duty free provider, St. Doras Enterprises, to build a complete onboard and off board retail program for the carrier, also working with China Pacific Catering Services to offer a fully outsourced retail management solution that would enable the airline to maximize ancillary revenue generation and deliver a quality passenger experience from day one. As part of this agreement, the carrier, a joint venture between China Airlines and Tigerair, will implement GuestLogix' leading retail platform and PCI-compliant POS handheld devices as well as its Ancillary Insights™ business intelligence platform and Global Payment Gateway™ for enhanced revenue protection. This agreement highlights the continued success of Travel RPM as well as GuestLogix' ability to support an omni-channel retailing environment.

GuestLogix' Travel RPM consultancy unit partnered with St. Doras in 2014 to develop and implement a complete end-to-end retail solution in time for Tigerair Taiwan's launch. With 82 payment and operational certifications, GuestLogix' solutions including its Transaction Processing Engine® (TPE) and Global Payment Gateway, as well as its ability to support JCB cards, played a significant role in securing its partnership with St. Doras as well as being selected by Tigerair Taiwan to build a winning retail strategy that would maximize ancillary revenue potential and enhance the passenger experience.

GuestLogix' retail platform and PCI-compliant POS handheld devices will be deployed to support the airlines' inflight duty free as well as food and beverage retailing across all routes. In addition, the carrier will also leverage the Company's Global Payment Gateway to benefit from enhanced payment security, as well as GuestLogix' Ancillary Insights for advanced reporting capabilities to optimize its retailing performance.

Following its September 26 launch, Tigerair Taiwan will be servicing flights to Singapore and Thailand, with plans to expand its route network throughout Northeast and Southeast Asia, including Hong Kong, Macau and major Chinese cities.
