GuestMetrics Forecasts Revenue Generation From Launch of SalesMetrics Product Line

Company to Begin Selling Product to the $700 Billion Worldwide Foodservice Industry Through Partnership With Technomic

ASHBURN, VA--(Marketwire - August 13, 2009) - GuestMetrics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GESM) is pleased to announce that the Company, through its strategic partnership with Technomic, Inc, has launched SalesMetrics, a monthly reporting of sales and marketing facts & insights for foodservice executives. GuestMetrics and Technomic expect to generate over $1.3 Million in revenues over the next 12 months through the sale of SalesMetrics Executive Briefing and other analytical tools to the foodservice industry. The complete product line is on schedule to launch over the next sixty days. Data will be sold on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis including time series period performance, and year-over-year and year to date comparison. Transactions being tracked by the products will account for over $4.5 billion in sales and over 104 million guest transactions annually. The SalesMetrics product is a monthly Executive Briefing identifying relevant restaurant trends and incorporating expert analysis from Technomic. Data is sourced from GuestMetrics' actual check transactions database of over 2,500 participating full service chains and independents, uploaded daily from a unit-level point of sale system. On average, 285,000 transactions per day are reported to provide aggregate results.
