GuestMetrics, Inc. Announces Most Significant Product Launch in Company History

ASHBURN, VA--(Marketwire - September 20, 2007) - Brian P. Barrett, President and CEO of GuestMetrics, Inc. (PINKSHEETS: GESM), a software provider and data mining company for the hospitality industry, announced today the launch of BarSnapshot, a new web-based product that provides beverage alcohol manufacturers the ability to analyze data from the on-premise channels of restaurants, bars, cafes and clubs. "BarSnapshot is a major milestone for beverage alcohol manufacturers where on-premise channels represent a critical revenue segment. To date, on-premise intelligence has been virtually impossible for manufactures to obtain and has been the industry's biggest gap in analyzing beer, wine and spirit sales."

BarSnapshot launches with wine and beer reports which were developed in collaboration with two of the top manufactures of wine and beer worldwide. The web portal provides the ability to easily segment data based on day part (breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.), revenue center (bar, dining room, patio, etc.), and dining style (bar, casual, fine dining, etc.). It features top brand and varietal ranking reports, detailing sales and share information.

"Our technology strategy at GuestMetrics is to make it easy for clients to quickly analyze performance and take action. Our BarSnapshot product offering provides manufacturers with competitive analysis, sales trends and brand performance to help them effectively manage the on-premise channel," stated Mr. Barrett.

The next phase of development for BarSnapshot will be the completion of spirit reports. The company is currently working with one of the largest spirits companies in the world on this initiative.

About GuestMetrics

GuestMetrics, Inc. (GuestMetrics) is a software provider and data mining company for the hospitality industry. The company provides restaurateurs with GuestSnapshot, an enterprise reporting tool that measures and evaluates KeyMetrics, server performance, fraud, promotional effectiveness and top guest menu preferences. The collection of this data is accomplished through integration with a restaurant's Point-of-Sale (POS) system. All information from a guest check is collected and housed in the GuestMetrics data center. GuestMetrics secures permission from the restaurateur to repackage and sell the data in aggregate to food and alcohol beverage manufacturers, distributors or other companies interested in analyzing customer spending trends. GuestMetrics, as the only provider of this data collected from on-premise consumption, enables manufacturers for the first time to analyze share of plate, share of category and promotional effectiveness.
