GXS Names Carey Wachtel the 2011 GXS Humanitarian and Todd Hill Award Winner

Annual Award Recognizes Employee Dedication to the Community

GAITHERSBURG, MD--(Marketwire - Mar 2, 2012) - GXS, a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce solutions, today announced that it has named Carey Wachtel its 2011 GXS Humanitarian and Todd Hill Award winner. The award honors the memory of Todd Hill, a QRS (Inovis) employee who lost his life during the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Each year since the merger of GXS and Inovis, GXS has recognized the outstanding community service efforts of one employee with a cash award and a matching contribution to the non-profit charity of the award winner's choice.

Carey supports multiple local charities by serving food to the hungry, raising money through individual donations and assisting with annual fundraising events. Additionally, she dedicates her time to a travelling baseball team, local animal shelters and countless others.

Open to all global employees of GXS, the GXS Humanitarian and Todd Hill Award recognizes an employee for outstanding work supporting non-profit charitable programs. All community service activities are taken into consideration.
