QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Dec. 6, 2007) - This press release is not intended for U.S. newswire agencies nor for circulation in the U.S.

Management of H2O Innovation (2000) Inc. ("H2O") (TSX VENTURE:HEO)(ALTERNEXT:MNEMO:ALHEO) is proud to announce the award of three new contracts in the United States and in Canada. Total value of these contracts amounts to CA$ 5.4M, bringing H2O sales backlog to CA$ 13 M.

New Hanover County Water Treatment Plant in North Carolina, USA

New Hanover County of North Carolina has selected Membrane Systems Inc. ("MSI"), a wholly owned subsidiary of H2O Innovation, for the design and supply of four nanofiltration systems for the production of 5.5 MGD of drinking water. As a subcontractor to M. B. Kahn Construction of South Carolina, MSI will provide two systems for the County of Pee Dee (2.5 MGD) and two additional systems for the County of Castle Hayne (3.0 MGD). MSI will design, assemble and ship two pre-built nanofiltration skids for each system. These systems will treat feed water received from multiple wells. The main treatment objectives are to reduce hardness, organic matters, iron and total dissolved solids.

Sea Water Treatment System in California, USA

MSI has also been awarded a contract by CDM Constructors for the design and supply of a seawater system in California. This project has strategic importance and will be highly visible due to several large seawater desalination projects under development in California. MSI scope of work includes the supply of redundant 0.3 MGD trains for the production of drinking water from well water with a salinity similar to seawater. The system includes highly efficient energy recovery devices for energy savings. The overall design had to be developed for optimum power consumption and reaching the high quality of concentrate discharge requirements.

South Beach Casino in Manitoba, Canada

Finally, the South Beach Casino located in the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation Reserve, has selected H2O Innovation's environmentally friendly technologies for the treatment of wastewater as well as for the production of drinking water. The wastewater system will include four trickling filters to treat 74,000 GPD while the drinking water systems with a capacity of 144,000 GPD will comprise 20 nanofiltration membrane elements.
