Habeas Debuts Program to Help Non-Profits Ensure Their Email Delivery

Qualifying Organizations Will Be Added to Habeas SafeList for Improved Deliverability

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 3, 2006 --Habeas Inc. (www.habeas.com), the company that certifies the reputations of legitimate email senders, today announced the Habeas Non-Profit Program, a low-cost program designed to help non-profits ensure the delivery of their emails. The initiative allows organizations that have successfully completed a thorough diagnostic review of their email practices to become whitelisted on the Habeas SafeList; the Internet's premiere whitelisting service.

As part of this program, participating organizations which have a U.S. 501(3)(c) form on file with the IRS will be examined against the rigorous Habeas Certify standards. Once they pass the certification requirements they are automatically added to the Habeas SafeList, which is used by more than 70,000 email networks at both ISPs and enterprises to assist in delivering legitimate email. Once a sender is on the Habeas SafeList, they will be considered a legitimate sender by most ISPs, a critical step to maintaining and improving delivery rates. If for any reason an organization does not meet the certification standards, Habeas will evaluate their existing practices and offer guidance into the areas that need to be fixed.

"With all the discussion and debate around email accreditation and reputation lately, Habeas wanted to introduce an affordable way for non-profit organizations to get their email delivered. The Habeas Non-Profit Program is positive step forward for the email community," said Des Cahill, CEO of Habeas. "Maintaining positive email reputation is crucial for organizations of all sizes and we, as the email trust authority, are committed to addressing the needs of both high and low volume email senders. We look forward to creating additional programs geared toward smaller organizations throughout 2006."
