From an outsider's point of view, joining a private golf club may seem complicated. However, when interested golfers realize the benefits a championship-level club membership provides them and their families, their trepidation often quickly disappears. Hacienda's new e-book helps readers understand the truths about being a member of a prestigious golf club and answers questions that might be holding back prospective members from signing on the dotted line. Features of the guide include:

  • Seven frequently asked questions that address potential members' concerns
  • Three common misconceptions about joining a private golf club
  • Six benefits of private golf club membership

"People who are considering joining a private golf club may be understandably concerned about what membership will entail," says John Hughes, Hacienda's PGA Head Professional. Our new guide is a resource for golfers thinking of taking this step but unsure if or how to proceed."

About Hacienda Golf Club
Hacienda Golf Club is Southern California's premier private golf club. Steeped in history, Hacienda, carved out of a beautiful canyon in the La Puente Hills, was designed by renowned golf course architect William Watson, with the first nine holes opening in 1920 and the second nine in 1923. Over the years, the course has hosted championship events and some of golf's biggest names, including Tiger Woods, Gene Sarazen, Phil Mickelson, and George Von Elm. In 2005, Hacienda underwent a major renovation that significantly enhanced the layout and extended its length to 6,955 yards. In 2006, a new multimillion-dollar, state-of-the-art clubhouse opened, offering banquet accommodations, a private wine-tasting room, and indoor and outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions.
