Haines Joins Parsons' Infrastructure & Technology Group

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - January 27, 2011) - Parsons announced today that Julie Haines has joined its Infrastructure & Technology group as Vice President and Client Service Leader of its International Development Practice. Ms. Haines is responsible for leading growth in the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) market and expanding Parsons' sustainable infrastructure footprint worldwide.

Ms. Haines is a senior executive with more than 20 years of international business management and development experience in 50 countries. She has created and led large businesses that support organizations like USAID, Millennium Challenge Corporation, and numerous other bi- and multilateral donor organizations. She combines strategic marketing and business development with operational delivery to create, build, and sustain profitable enterprises.

Ms. Haines has just completed three terms as Chairperson of the U.S. Department of Commerce's Environmental Technology and Trade Advisory Committee. She holds bachelor's degrees in political science and geology from the College of Wooster in Ohio and a master's degree in business administration from Virginia Polytechnic University. She is based in Washington, D.C.
