Haley & Aldrich's Anthony Noce Named Fellow at the American Chemical Society

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - July 13, 2015) - Haley & Aldrich, an environmental and engineering consulting firm, announced today that Anthony (Tony) Noce, a principal consultant in its Operations Risk & Compliance Practice, has been selected as a member of the 2015 class of Fellows of the American Chemical Society (ACS). The prestigious honor, given by the world's largest scientific society, is awarded to scientists who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in and contributions to science, the profession, and the ACS.

"Mr. Noce has amply demonstrated qualifications for the ACS Fellow program by displaying strong, effective leadership and managerial excellence in industry as well as exceptional leadership and service across the ACS spectrum," said Dr. Laura E. Pence, professor of chemistry, ACS Fellow, and chair of the ACS Committee on Environmental Improvement. "For his exemplary professional leadership in industry, in EH&S policy and procedures and for his outstanding contributions to ACS at all levels, I am thrilled that he has been named a 2015 ACS Fellow."

Noce has been closely involved with the ACS since 1994. He currently serves as an alternate councilor for the Eastern New York section and has served in a variety of local, regional and national positions within the society, including both member-at-large and program chair for the Division of Environmental Chemistry (ENVR), a member of the ACS Committee on Environmental Improvement (where he currently serves as chair of the Subcommittee on Sustainability), and secretary of the Northeast Region of the ACS.

"Tony's appointment as a 2015 ACS Fellow is well deserved -- the result of more than two decades of achievement and innovations in the field," said Michael Pardus, Haley & Aldrich Operations Risk & Compliance practice leader. "His technical expertise, experience working across a variety of industries, and innovative approaches bring significant value not only to client engagements, but also to the industry as a whole."

Noce has more than 26 years of experience in environmental chemistry and consulting, with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety (EH&S) regulatory compliance. At Haley & Aldrich he focuses on identifying innovative solutions for his clients' EH&S challenges in order to minimize business risk.

Building on Haley & Aldrich's six decades of expertise in the built environment, EH&S compliance, process engineering, and legacy site management, the company's growing Operations Risk & Compliance team focuses on helping executives and operations managers of private sector organizations ensure business continuity, protect the brand, and reduce the total cost of operations.

As a member of the 2015 class of ACS Fellows, Tony Noce will be honored at a special ceremony on August 17, 2015, at the ACS National Meeting in Boston.
