The HES focuses on career opportunities in the entertainment industry and the secrets to succeeding as a professional. HES will feature panels of industry experts, interactive question-and-answer periods and a networking reception. It is a chance to hear from industry experts, build your network, and explore the opportunities within an exciting and growing industry.

The Summit's panellists bring decades of experience and a wealth of industry knowledge. They include Jonny Stevens (Education and Events Coordinator, Music Nova Scotia), Asif Illyas (Halifax progressive pop group MIR), Andre Bourgeois (Instinct Artist Management), Jim Norris (President, Norris-Whitney Communications, publishers of Canadian Musician Magazine) and Brian Moncarz (Producer/ Engineer).

HES will be moderated by Alex Andronache, Director of International Admissions, Metalworks Institute. Alex has also been a tour manager and record producer, working with the likes of Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Genesis and Canadian legends Triumph. Keynote speaker is Craig Titus, Academics Director, Metalworks Institute, who is also a respected record producer.
