Growing customer base choosing HRIS Connect Module to rapidly update employee data between HRIS systems and Halogen Talent Management Suite

CHICAGO, ILLINOIS--(Marketwire - June 23, 2008) - SHRM Conference booth 1255 -For Halogen Software customers, strategic HR functions such as employee performance management, compensation and succession planning, are seamlessly linked to their traditional HR Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based employee data using Halogen's recently launched HRIS Connect tool. Halogen, a leader in the employee performance and talent management market, has seen strong uptake in this utility among new and existing customers who view the best-of-breed functionality, performance and cost-effectiveness of the Halogen solution as vital to achieving organizational goals.

While many Halogen clients have an existing Human Resource Information System (HRIS) or ERP system in place, for functions like payroll and benefits, they have opted not to implement the limited talent management modules provided by their ERP vendors. However, these customers require a viable way to extend the value of the employee data that currently resides in their existing HR systems to talent management functions. Industry analysts and Halogen customers concur that this capability is valuable.

The HRIS Connect utility runs as a Windows Service. Once configured, it runs unattended on a schedule.
