Hamilton Thorne Announces Changes to Its Board of Directors


BEVERLY, MA and TORONTO--(Marketwire - March 1, 2011) - Hamilton Thorne Ltd. (TSX-V: HTL), a leading provider of advanced laser systems for the regenerative medicine, developmental biology, stem cell research and fertility markets, today announced the resignation of Scott Pearson from the Company's Board of Directors. In addition, Dr. David Sable will join Hamilton Thorne's Audit Committee. Both of these changes are effective immediately.

The Company also announced that it has granted Dr. Sable an additional 10,000 stock options to purchase in pursuant of the Company's incentive stock option plan. The options are exercisable at Cdn$0.275 per share, vest over three years, and expire ten years from the date of grant.
